🎵 John Farnham
John Farnham’s early life included schooling at Lyndale High School in Dandenong North. The council’s heritage study records an early performance at the school’s official opening, well before he became a household name. His later singing career made songs such as You’re the Voice familiar across Australia and drew enormous concert audiences. The school connection brings that large public career back to a suburban beginning: a young singer performing locally before the major recordings and arena shows followed.
